component 1 final evaluation
The theme I had chose to explore was constructed landscapes as when It had come to choosing my theme I had thought it would be very ease but I had been very mistaken when I first started I had thought it was the best option as it had so much versatility as anything can be an landscape this allowed me to use all my creativity as I have progressed through component one I had started to get attached to the to the landscapes I had created as each one was drastically different and had its own story theses stories had only started to become more developed which led me to use two stories (landscapes) To create the perfect landscape. I had analysed a few artist the ones I had taken the most inspiration from where Ray metzker and Penelope Umbrico as I had learned to create grids from Penelope umbrico and with the help of ray metzker I had started to use the technique of 'Pictus Interruptus'.The threshold concept I feel I had utilised most was photographs are abstractions shaped by technology as all my photos have been effected by technology in come way.I had used photoshop, indesign, projectors, mirrors and many other items to create and refine my work. for some experiment I had created objects to interrupt the photo when I had started using the idea of Pictus interrupts.i had further developed my experiments by using the idea of reflections.and had come to the ultimate decision of using reflection and pictures to create a landscape. This led to me using photo shop to edit and combine the photos into one of my final landscapes.in the beginning of my work I had decided to use my photos and place them ink a Grid pattern.the hardest thin I learnt while trying to work like an artist is to create something that has never been see before
